Kötü Kedi Şerafettin

Looking back at Kötü Kedi Şerafettin, one of the fun projects I had the chance to work on, I realize how much I enjoyed bringing chaos to the screen. My contributions mainly focused on FX elements—things breaking, splashing, and getting destroyed in the most satisfying ways!

One of the key shots I worked on was the shattering Ouzo bottle, which wasn’t just about making glass break realistically but also about simulating the liquid interacting with a rat character. The fluid behavior needed to be accurate and blend well into the scene. Achieving this was a challenge. However, seeing the final result in motion made it all worth it.

I also handled some interior destruction during fight sequences—because what’s an animated brawl without some walls, furniture, and props taking a beating? The goal was to enhance the action with dynamic debris and dust while making sure everything felt weighty and believable.

Before diving into FX, I was involved in early R&D for the film’s lighting setup. It was all about figuring out the best way to create mood and atmosphere that would fit the gritty and humorous tone of the movie.
