Back in 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to work on Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This project was massive, and I was leading a team of around 70 FX artists, making sure everything came together smoothly on the FX side. From fire and destruction to water simulations, we tackled some of the film’s most intense sequences.
One of the biggest challenges was following the entire movie in terms of FX shots—making sure everything stayed consistent, visually stunning, and, of course, as epic as a Godzilla movie should be. I was also responsible for developing key setups, the foundation for a lot of the destruction and environmental effects seen in the film.
Seeing it all come to life on the big screen was a rewarding experience. Every explosion, every crashing wave, every fiery wreckage—it was a team effort, and I’m proud to have been part of making it happen. Godzilla: King of the Monsters was a wild ride, and looking back, it’s still one of the coolest projects I’ve worked on.
